Integration paths

Three ways to integrate. One balance.

Pick one, two, or all three — depending on your merchant portfolio and technical setup. Same platform, same ledger, same admin.

Path 1

API

REST API + Terminal SDK. You build your own experience on our ledger and issuance engine. Maximum control for banks with in-house tech teams.

  • Card issuance API
  • Terminal SDK (PAX, Verifone, Ingenico)
  • Webhooks + sandbox environment
  • GDPR-compliant data handling

Best for

Banks with dedicated engineering teams who want maximum control.

Path 2

Checkout Widget

A ready checkout widget for your merchants' e-commerce sites. One-line JavaScript embed. Four one-click auth methods:

  • Wallet card — one scan
  • Phone — SMS or Flash-call
  • Email — one-time code
  • Corporate ID — for B2B/B2E

Best for

PSPs and banks offering merchants an out-of-the-box online solution.

The Starbucks model
Path 3 ⭐

Embedded in your PSP Checkout

7Konto appears as a new payment method inside your existing checkout. Merchants change NOTHING on their sites. "Pay with 7Konto" auto-appears at checkout.

  • Zero merchant integration required
  • Smart account detection at checkout:
  • B2C → gift, personal, loyalty balance
  • B2B/B2E → corporate credit or targeted allowance

Best for

PSPs who want to extend their checkout offering without requiring merchant integration work.

Same balance across all three paths. One transaction flow. One admin panel. Merchants can spend and earn offline and online — from a single Wallet card.

Built for payment networks

Built for financial infrastructure partners

Banks, EMIs, PSPs, acquirers, processors, POS vendors — anyone with a merchant portfolio and payment infrastructure.

Banks & Acquirers

Add offline and online closed-loop capabilities to your merchant portfolio. Retain merchants who consider switching to Fintech-only providers.

Payment Providers (PSPs) & EMIs

Add closed-loop as a native payment method inside your existing checkout — "Pay with 7Konto" appears next to cards and wallets you already offer. Zero merchant integration required.

POS Terminal Vendors

Add closed-loop as a value-add feature on your terminals. Sell more terminals to merchants who need more than payment processing.

Payment Networks & Processors

Coalition programs, multi-merchant loyalty networks, mobility platforms. Build closed-loop ecosystems for your participants — offline and online.

The opportunity

Why closed-loop matters for your business

Your merchants are asking for capabilities you don't currently offer. Fintech competitors are showing up with the answer.

Your merchants want prepaid, gift cards, loyalty — and online checkout

They're building it themselves or switching to Fintech providers that offer full-stack solutions across POS and e-commerce.

Existing solutions require customer apps

60-80% enrollment abandonment. Merchants pay for empty databases and unused features.

Custom online closed-loop requires per-merchant integration

Every merchant becomes a project. 6–12 months per rollout. You end up subsidizing.

You're leaving monetization on the table

Every retained merchant is worth 5-10x acquisition cost. Losing them to competitors is expensive.

7Konto lets you offer these capabilities without building them from scratch, replacing terminals, or losing merchants to competitors.

Platform capabilities

What we bring to your merchant portfolio

Complete closed-loop platform, deployed under your brand, on your existing terminals.

Three integration paths

POS terminals, checkout widget for merchant sites, or embedded in your PSP gateway. Same balance across all three. One admin, one ledger.

White-label platform

Run 7Konto under your brand. Custom domain, colors, logo. Merchants see your brand, not ours.

Existing terminal network

Deploy on your current PAX, Verifone, Ingenico, or other POS terminals. No new hardware for merchants.

Multi-tenant architecture

Every merchant is a sub-account under your master account. Full segregation, isolated data, unified reporting.

Smart account routing

Auto-detects B2C vs B2B/B2E at checkout and applies the right balance, limits, and rules. Widget adjusts auth flow automatically.

Rapid Wallet card issuance

From merchant activation to first customer card issued: minutes, not weeks. Customers scan QR, tap "Add to Wallet", done.

Why closed-loop is a natural extension for PSPs

100% of data. 0% of interchange.

Because the transaction never leaves your ecosystem — every economic and strategic advantage of closed-loop, without the burden of building it.

100%

Customer data stays in your ecosystem, not the card networks.

0%

Interchange fees on closed-loop transactions. Your economics, your rules.

No

EMI license required. PSD2 limited-network exemption covers closed-loop.

Full

Attribution across POS and online in one dataset.

You're not cannibalizing your card business. You're adding a parallel product line with better economics — for merchants Visa and Mastercard can't serve well. This is the Starbucks model, delivered through your existing acquiring perimeter.

How it fits your portfolio

Use cases across your merchant base

Every merchant category has a closed-loop opportunity. We've built specific solutions for each.

Merchant Category Closed-Loop Use Case Your Revenue Opportunity
Retail chains Digital gift card programs — POS and online New merchant fee revenue + retention
Restaurants & HORECA Prepaid balances + loyalty across offline and delivery Higher transaction volume from repeat customers
Corporate clients Employee meal/fuel/benefit accounts — usable at partner e-shops too B2B2E is high-value, sticky merchant category
E-commerce merchants "Pay with 7Konto" in checkout — via widget or PSP embedding Online transactions inside your acquiring perimeter
Hotels Guest room account payments, cross-property programs Full property spend captured, cross-property programs
Event organizers Cashless events without NFC bracelets — pre-purchase online Seasonal but high-frequency, premium pricing tier
Deep-dive: B2B2E example

See a complete B2B2E flow in detail

We've built a detailed walkthrough showing exactly how a fuel network offers 7Konto to corporate customers (transport companies), who then give Wallet cards with individual limits to their drivers.

Perfect example of the three-party model banks can offer their corporate clients: bank + merchant (fuel network) + corporate customer (transport company) + end users (drivers). Includes concrete numbers, monetization models, and a complete step-by-step flow.

Partnership FAQ

Questions from partners

Common questions from banks, acquirers, and PSPs considering partnership.

How does 7Konto embed into our PSP checkout?

We integrate with your gateway once, and every merchant on your platform gets "Pay with 7Konto" as a native payment method alongside cards, wallets, and other options. Merchants change nothing on their sites. Smart account detection routes customers between B2C balances (gift, personal prepaid, loyalty) and B2B/B2E accounts (corporate credit, employee allowance).

Do merchants have to change anything on their sites for online?

It depends on the path. (1) PSP checkout embedding: no merchant changes at all — "Pay with 7Konto" auto-appears in your existing gateway checkout. (2) Standalone widget: merchants add a one-line JavaScript snippet. (3) API path: your engineering team builds custom UI on our API. Most partners start with PSP embedding for the fastest rollout across their base.

How does the checkout widget authenticate customers?

Four one-click methods: (1) Wallet card — the same one used at POS, one scan. (2) Phone — SMS code or instant Flash-call. (3) Email — one-time code. (4) Corporate ID — for B2B/B2E users, no consumer signup. The widget auto-selects the appropriate method based on account type and merchant configuration.

How do you route between B2C and B2B/B2E accounts online?

Smart account detection at checkout. When a customer authenticates, the platform identifies whether they hold a personal balance (gift card, prepaid, loyalty) or a corporate/employee account (fuel card, meal allowance, benefit line). The right rules, limits, and merchant restrictions apply automatically. Same widget, different account routing.

Do you compete with our card issuing or acquiring business?

No. Closed-loop payments are a parallel product line — different from card processing. You continue earning acquiring fees on Visa/Mastercard transactions. 7Konto adds a new revenue stream on transactions that would otherwise not fit your card business (gift cards, employee allowances, restricted-use aid, B2B2E). You expand the addressable pie, not cannibalize it.

What data stays with us versus going to Visa/Mastercard?

100% of closed-loop transaction data stays with you and the merchant. Nothing routes through Visa or Mastercard for closed-loop transactions. 0% interchange fees. Full attribution: who spent what, where, when — across POS and online in one dataset. This is the closed-loop dividend: the same economics Starbucks captured with their custom app, delivered through your existing acquiring perimeter.

How does the revenue share work?

You get a percentage of every transaction fee generated by merchants in your portfolio — both physical POS and online checkout. Percentages vary based on volume, merchant category, and deployment model. We share transparent reporting so you can see exactly what you're earning. Specific terms are discussed during partnership calls.

Can we white-label 7Konto under our brand?

Yes. Full white-label options are available. Custom domain (e.g., loyalty.yourbank.com), your logo and colors on the admin panel and Wallet cards, and your brand on merchant-facing materials. Merchants and their customers see your brand, not 7konto.

What POS terminals do you support?

We support all major terminal vendors: PAX, Verifone, Ingenico, and others. For deep integrations, we provide a Terminal SDK. For lighter integrations, our QR code flow works on any terminal that can display QR codes on screen — which is most modern terminals.

How long does integration take?

Six to eight weeks to pilot end-to-end. Week 1 discovery, weeks 2–4 integration (API + Terminal SDK + Checkout Widget + optional PSP embedding), weeks 4–6 pilot with 5–10 merchants across POS and online. Our engineering team works directly with yours. Sandbox environments provided.

How do you handle merchant onboarding?

Multiple options: (1) You onboard merchants using our admin tools, (2) We onboard merchants on your behalf as a white-label service, or (3) Merchants self-service through your branded portal. We provide bulk import, CSV templates, and support workflows for all approaches.

Do you compete with our existing loyalty offerings?

No. 7Konto is closed-loop payments and stored value — a different product category than traditional loyalty points programs. If you have a loyalty product, we complement it. If you don't, we fill a gap in your portfolio without cannibalizing existing services.

What's the pilot commitment?

A 4-6 week pilot with 5-10 merchants from your portfolio, across POS and online. During the pilot, we handle merchant onboarding, staff training, and support at no cost to you or the merchants. Success is measured against pre-agreed KPIs: card issuance, transaction volume, merchant adoption. If the pilot succeeds, we discuss rollout terms. If not, we archive the data and there's nothing to pay.

How is merchant data handled?

GDPR-compliant data handling. Merchants own their customer data. You get aggregated reporting for your portfolio. We act as a data processor under contract. Data is stored in EU data centers by default (other regions available). No data sharing between merchants, and no data resale.

What compliance certifications do you have?

GDPR-compliant by design. We operate under PSD2 closed-loop exemption in the EU (which means we're not a licensed EMI — we facilitate closed-loop transactions that don't require full banking authorization). For partners requiring specific certifications for their jurisdictions, we can discuss custom compliance arrangements.

Can we integrate 7Konto with our existing CRM or CMS?

Yes. REST API + webhooks give you programmatic access to every part of the platform. Common integrations: your merchant CRM (to sync merchant records), your customer database (to enrich profiles), your reporting system (to feed dashboards), your billing platform (to charge merchants).
